Hey all 9th graders! We've created this blog to give you some advice for the following year, and to keep you posted on upcoming events.
We hope to make the transition into high school smooth and simple. We as the upper classmen have experienced many of the same situations you're going through. Therefore, we will hopefully be able to give you tips and tricks to making high school a little easier for your first year.
Here are our top 3 tips for freshmen year:
- Don't panic! you will get used to the workload and new environment and you will have have some fun!
- Get involved! even if you think "This isn't for me" remember there really is something for everyone here!
- High school goes by fast! Looking back, it feels like my first day was just yesterday! Enjoy it while you can! Go to games, cheer on your school, make new friends, because its like like Mr. Beers says, " There are people who make things happen, who watch what happened, and people who just wonder 'what just happened?'"
